RetroPlay Privacy Policy

RetroPlay is a Telegram Mini App for playing classic retro games directly inside Telegram. We respect your privacy and collect only what is needed to make the app work.

What data we collect

• Your Telegram ID, first name, and language code — provided by Telegram when you open the Mini App. Used for personalization and to associate your saves and library.
• Game session data — which games you launched and when, to power the “Recently Played” and “Trending” sections.
• UI preferences — language, theme (dark/light), gamepad and skin settings. Stored in your browser's local storage on your device.
• Game files you upload — stored privately and accessible only to you.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not request your phone number, email, or contacts.
• We do not track you outside of Telegram or RetroPlay.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not store any payment information.

How your data is stored

Data is stored on secure servers used only to operate RetroPlay. Game files you upload are kept in private storage and are not shared with other users. Local preferences (theme, language, controller skin) live only in your browser and never leave your device.

Cookies and analytics

RetroPlay does not use third-party tracking cookies or external analytics providers. The only persistent storage is your browser's local storage, used to remember your preferences between sessions.

Data deletion

You can delete your saved games and uploaded files at any time from inside the app. To request full deletion of all data associated with your Telegram ID, contact us through the bot using the /help command.

Children

RetroPlay is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will remove the associated data.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of RetroPlay after changes means you accept the updated policy.
